Like many women you probably know what it is like to make for the nearest chair when you enter a room so as to not draw anyone's attention. Because of their weight many women are humiliated but below are some tips that might help you regain your self-confidence.

First, you should always wear clothes that fit your figure. You can not fit into the same tank top as a woman who weighs 35 pounds lighter than you. Find a store that specializes in full figure women clothing and find something that make you feel good about yourself. No matter what your size, if you look great you tend to act more confident.

Secondly you should tell your reflection in the mirror, every single day, that you love yourself. It does not matter how overweight you may be remember that you are created in the image of God and He loves you irrespective of your weight. You can love yourself too. I'm honored to know many overweight women who are excellent examples of confident women who do not let the opinions of other bother them. Many people, including men, find this attractive and love to be near them.

Thirdly it is important to understand that you are far more concerned about your weight than anyone else is. If health issues and failed diets that do not work have made you despondent, try really committing yourself to losing the weight. To help yourself along invest in a good weight loss program and follow the eating program. Coupled with some walking three times a week you will see a reduction in your weight. For good health and self-confidence losing weight is the right choice.
