Simplest Way To Reduce A Wart - An Easy 4 Stage Program

By Sean T Saunders

HPV, the human papillomavirus, infects nearly 40 percent of the world's population and appearance of tiny unsightly warts over the skin is one of the symptoms of this infection. Medical research experiments have confirmed that this is one of the most common varieties of viral infection prevalent around the globe. Warts can appear on any part of your body but it is commonly noticed on areas such as the face, hands, fingers, legs, knees, feet and genitals. Natural holistic treatment methods are the best way to get rid of warts and this involves a step by step method that will soften wart tissue, apply natural ointments, cover the warts and finally eradicate them completely. In the next few paragraphs we have discussed this step by step natural treatment program in detail. This system relies on inexpensive and holistic ingredients that you probably already have in your home. This program works well for the treatment of all types of warts except for those on the genitals.

1. Soften Warts - You already know that your warts are made up of very tough tissue. That is the result of the HPV virus in your skin feeding off of blood vessels. You will have to soften this tissue before it can be removed effectively and you need to kill the virus so the warts don't come back. The best way to get rid of warts when you are just starting to treat them is to soak them in hot water. Make sure that the water is not very hot, otherwise your skin might get hurt. Soak the affected part of your body in water for about ten to fifteen minutes. Adding apple cider vinegar to the hot soaking water will make this first step even more effective. Adjust the ratio of vinegar to water according to how sensitive your skin is.

2. Natural Preparations - The hot water and apple cider vinegar soak has softened your warts so now is the time to apply a natural ointment to them. There are many things you can use including aloe vera gel, garlic oil and banana peels. Aloe vera gel is particularly effective because it has three different medical characteristics. It works as a topical analgesic, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory. The anti- inflammatory action of the gel will interfere with the feeding process of the HPV virus from your blood vessels and weaken it so the antiseptic qualities can destroy it. Sometimes slight discomfort and pain may be felt in the area after the hot water treatment. The analgesic properties of the aloe gel helps to relieve the discomfort.

3. Tape Them - You have softened your warts with hot water treatment and you have applied natural creams over the area so now it's time to cover the warts tightly with pieces of duct tape. By doing this you will cut off the air supply to the virus and as the virus is already weakened by the restricted food supply, it gets destroyed very easily. Cut a small piece of duct tape, slightly bigger than the size of your wart and apply the tape firmly to them so that they are air tight. This tape should be kept in place for about 5-7 days and then you can start removing your warts.

4. Exfoliate Warts - The final thing you have to do in this progressive treatment which is the best way to get rid of warts would be to abrade, exfoliate or cut them off of your skin. The human papilloma virus which has been the basic cause for wart formation has been completely destroyed and hence they will not recur again. Use an emery board, pumice stone or other abrasive implement to exfoliate the tissue from the warts. If the wart has turned black it implies that the tissue is completely dead and so you can speed things up by cutting the wart out.
